A print is the best source of information. However if you do not have a print, the information below should be enough to give us a good start on quoting your part.
In order for us to give you the most accurate quote we can, we need as much of the following information as you can give us.
1) Dimensions - if you do not have a drawing available, a sketch including applicable dimensions will be very helpful. Please make sure to include dimensions for journals, steps, slots and the like.
2) Tolerance- or allowance for variance.
3) Material- Hard? soft? stainless? etc..
4) Surface treatment & finish- Do your parts need chrome? heat-treat? etc... Is it rough, smooth, shiny, knurled, grooved?
5) Application- where or how the part will be used.
6) Expected Delivery- We understand that emergencies happen and we will be glad to respond as quickly as possible to help you out, but please understand that we do not keep material on hand and availability could cause delays.
