Master Roll Manufacturing delivers precision-engineered rolls, components, and reconditioning services for the steel coil and toll processing industry and OEMs. For more than 25 years, we have worked to manufacture and restore critical steel processing components for levelers, straighteners, flatteners, and slitters to support operations where tolerance, consistency, and turnaround matter.
As a division of M. Brashem, Inc., we specialize in manufacturing and reconditioning leveler rolls, backups, arbors, mandrels, and custom-machined parts for OEMs, steel service centers, and maintenance teams. With in-house induction hardening, super-finishing, and decades of machining experience, we help extend component life, restore performance, and deliver components built to OEM specifications.

Turning
CNC and manual turning up to 240 inches long and 36 inches in diameter. Ideal for complex rolls, pistons, mandrels, and arbors.
Grinding
Centerless (to 3 inches in diameter) and cylindrical (to 22 inches in diameter, 16 feet long) grinding for precise diameter and concentricity.
Roll Reconditioning
Complete “as received” inspection results are used to determine work required to bring rolls or backups back to a precision matched set. Proper reconditioning allows our customers to get the most out of their investment at a fraction of the cost.
Milling & Drilling
Keyways, splines, lock slots, and custom features for high-performance tooling and drive systems.
Super Finishing (1-2RA)
Available to our customers who process surface-finish critical materials.
Induction Hardening
In-house heat treatment of rounds up to 6 inches in diameter and 14 feet long. Case hardness and depth certification is available as required.
Inspection & Certification
Our standards include multiple in-process checks and a final documented inspection of critical features and dimensions.
Straightening
Hydraulic/manual straightening for rolls up to 8.5 inches in diameter and 210 inches long to correct distortion or prep for finishing.
